Our Volunteer-Based team is growing!

Open Coordinator Positions:

• Lead Executive Coordinator

  • We are seeking a new Lead Coordinator to take over the TEDxBozeman planning committee. Our current Lead Coordinator is seeking to train someone in this position during the planning of our 2022 event. After the 2022 event, this person will be the lead of the TEDxBozeman team with the option of taking over the TEDxBozeman license. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will require excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and project management skills. This team member will be responsible for learning the TEDx rules and processes and managing the various teams on the TEDxBozeman Planning Committee. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the TED concept and be willing to commit for 3+ years. Connections to Southwest Montana, and prior experience with large event planning are a plus.

  • This volunteer position and the ideal candidate will be interested in a:

    • 3-5 year commitment which requires:

      • 10 hrs/month for 1-4 months out of the year

      • 10-25 hrs/month for 8-10 months out of the year

• Co-Executive Coordinator

  • This team member will be responsible for assisting the Lead Executive Coordinator in managing the various teams on the TEDxBozeman Planning Committee. The ideal candidate should be passionate about TED, showcasing Montana's amazing talent as well as have strong administrative and organizational skills. Connections to Southwest Montana, and prior experience with large event planning are a plus.

  • This volunteer position and the ideal candidate will be interested in a:

    • 3-5 year commitment which requires:

      • 10 hrs/month for 1-4 months out of the year

      • 10-25 hrs/month for 8-10 months out of the year

• Speaker Coordinator

  • This team member will assist the lead Speaker Coordinator and help with organizing the activities, preparations, and schedules of the speaker and performer lineup. This individual will also be involved with practice sessions and speaker coaching. Experience coordinating and communicating with varied personality types is a plus.

  • This volunteer position requires approximately:

    • 10 hrs/month for 1-4 months out of the year

    • 10-25 hrs/month for 8-10 months out of the year

• Volunteer Coordinator

  • This team member is responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers before and during the TEDxBozeman event. This position may be asked to assist with other committees during the planning stages. Experience coordinating and communicating with volunteers is a plus.

• This volunteer position requires approximately:

  • 5 hrs/month for 1-4 months out of the year

  • 5-15 hrs/month for 8-10 months out of the year
